Why We Built This Site
Wisconsin supports public access to many court dockets and files, but access does not mean that every record appears in one place. Wisconsin Circuit Court Access, commonly called WCCA, provides a public case-information layer for circuit matters. The Green County Clerk of Circuit Court preserves the underlying circuit file and handles available inspections, regular copies, and certified copies. Circuit court offices manage settings and hearings. Brodhead and Albany municipal matters follow local routes unless an appeal creates a separate circuit case.
This resource organizes those distinctions around practical tasks. A reader can identify whether a matter belongs in WCCA, determine when the Clerk should be contacted, and avoid treating a municipal citation as an automatic circuit record. It also explains why an online docket entry is not the same item as a filed motion, signed judgment, transcript, or certified disposition.

- Case lookups: methods for running a docket search by case number or party information in the official system
- Record requests: the difference between an online summary and court case records obtained from the Clerk
What We Cannot Do
Green County Court Docket is privately operated and has no affiliation with a Wisconsin court, the Green County Clerk of Circuit Court, or any government agency. Its role is limited to reference information and routing.
- It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a reader
- It cannot alter, cancel, continue, or reset a hearing date
- It cannot remove, seal, expunge, or correct a court entry
- It cannot certify a docket, judgment, order, or other document
- It cannot provide legal advice about a specific Green County case
- It cannot promise that a posted fee, number, or setting remains current
An official or certified Green County circuit record must come from the Clerk of Circuit Court or the court office that maintains the original. Always verify current information with that source.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some content pages are supplied by outside providers. Those providers operate their own services, choose their own prices, and control the records returned. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this private resource. Green County Court Docket does not set those charges or control third-party results. For an official case record, hearing date, or certified copy, use the originating court or Clerk.
